CHARITY FOUNDER

Rev Fr Matthias Nsamba, born in Uganda 52 years ago and ministering as a Catholic Priest in South Africa for the past 22 years, trained at Katigondo National Major Seminary and Makerere University (Uganda) in Philosophy. Matthias Nsamba went to train in Catechesis and Project Management at Gaba Pastoral Institute - Eldoret, Kenya, in Missiology (Diploma in Missiology, Diploma in Theology) at Tangaza College - Nairobi, Kenya, Degree in Theology - Urbaniana Pontifical University (Rome) and for a Degree in Social Sciences at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa - Nairobi, Kenya. Matthias Nsamba was ordained a Catholic Priest on the 21st of April 2001.

Philanthropic in nature, Fr Matthias Nsamba in 2004 with the help of St Joseph's Parish, Nechells - Birmingham Archdiocese in the UK co-founded Christ the Healer Project, a Charity that helps in skilling the youth while promoting behaviour change for positive lifestyle living. The Charity operates in South Africa. In 2021, Fr Matthias Nsamba while in his home country Uganda so the need to address critical life - threatening issues in his home area: Poverty, Hunger, Malnutrition, rising number of Orphans, Gender based violence, Food insecurity, Drought, lack of basic and proper Education - No skills Development programmes among the Youth, HIV/AIDS, uncontrolled alcohol and drug addictions which cause grief and misery in communities and related diseases, gave birth to Second Chance Charitable Trust.- Uganda
